Strategic Advisory

Technology Brokerage

Your advocate in the complex world of IT procurement. We compare providers across the market to help you find the technology and pricing that actually fits your business.

If you're an owner tired of juggling five different vendor reps, an office manager who suspects you're overpaying but can't prove it, or someone opening a new location and dreading the phone calls it'll take to wire it up, this page explains how the brokerage model works and what it does for you.

Vendor Selection & Management

Stop juggling multiple sales reps. We act as your single point of contact, gathering quotes, comparing solutions, and presenting you with a clear, unbiased analysis of your options.

  • Access to 200+ Carriers & Vendors
  • Unbiased, Vendor-Agnostic Recommendations
  • Simplified Procurement Process
  • Ongoing Account Management & Escalation

In practice, this means you tell us what you need once instead of taking calls from five different sales reps, we bring back a side-by-side comparison instead of one company's pitch, and if something goes wrong after the contract is signed, you call us instead of sitting on hold with the carrier's general support line.

Cost Optimization & Audits

Are you overpaying for telecom and IT services? Our team audits your existing contracts and invoices to identify billing errors, unused services, and opportunities for savings.

  • Telecom Expense Management (TEM)
  • Contract Negotiation & Renewal
  • Bill Auditing & Dispute Resolution
  • ROI Analysis for New Technology

Contracts often auto-renew with rate increases nobody notices, or carry a line item for a service that was decommissioned months ago and never removed from the bill. An audit is simply reading every line of what you're actually paying for and flagging what doesn't belong there anymore.

New Office & Expansion Support

Opening a new location involves dozens of technology decisions. We coordinate internet installation, phone system deployment, and low-voltage cabling to ensure your new office opens on time and under budget.

  • Project Management for New Builds
  • ISP & Carrier Coordination
  • Structured Cabling & Low Voltage
  • Multi-Site Rollouts

A new location means internet, phones, cabling, and often security all landing on the same timeline. We coordinate those pieces so you're managing one project plan instead of four separate vendor schedules that may or may not line up.

Who this is for

The brokerage model fits any business juggling multiple technology vendors, suspecting it's overpaying without the time to prove it, or facing a big technology decision — a new phone system, a new location, a security overhaul — without in-house expertise to evaluate the options.

A few signs it's worth a conversation: you haven't reviewed your telecom or IT contracts in years, you're not sure what you're even paying for on a given invoice, a vendor renewal is coming up and you don't know if the rate is competitive, or you're opening a second location and don't want to repeat the research from scratch. Medical practices weighing new EHR, telehealth, or HIPAA-aligned infrastructure lean on this model too — see our EHR support and HIPAA compliance pages for the healthcare side of it.

How an engagement works

Whether you're auditing an existing contract or planning a new buildout, the process starts the same way — understanding what you have and what you actually need.

01

Assess

We review your current contracts, invoices, and technology setup to see what's working, what's not, and what's costing more than it should.

02

Compare

We gather quotes and compare vendors across the market against your actual requirements, not a single company's product line.

03

Recommend

You get a clear, side-by-side comparison and a recommendation, with pricing and trade-offs in plain language.

04

Implement & support

We coordinate the vendor or carrier transition and stay on as your point of contact for account issues and future decisions.

Why vendor-neutral matters

A direct sales rep for any single carrier or vendor is paid to sell you that company's product, whether or not it's the right fit. We're compensated by whichever vendor or carrier you end up choosing, not by one exclusively, so our incentive is to find the option that actually fits your business — which is also why this comparison work doesn't add a separate consulting fee on top of what you're already paying a vendor.

Built for Northwest Georgia

Vendor comparisons and carrier introductions are handled locally from Rome, for businesses throughout Gordon, Catoosa, and Whitfield counties as well as the rest of the NWGA area. The full service-area breakdown lists the specific counties and cities we work in.

Technology Brokerage — FAQs

How does a technology broker get paid if not by us? We're compensated by the vendor or carrier you ultimately choose, similar to how an insurance broker is paid by the insurer. That's what lets us compare options across the market instead of charging you a consulting fee on top.

Do you replace our existing IT or telecom vendor? Not necessarily. Sometimes the outcome is switching vendors, and sometimes it's confirming your current setup is already a good fit. We tell you either way, since our recommendation isn't tied to one outcome.

What's the difference between a broker and an IT consultant? A consultant typically charges you directly for advice. A brokerage model like ours is compensated by the vendor or carrier you select, so the comparison and recommendation work doesn't add a separate consulting bill.

Can you help audit a contract we already have? Yes. We review existing telecom and IT contracts and invoices for billing errors, services you're no longer using, and terms that no longer fit your business, then flag what's worth renegotiating.

The Brokerage Model

Why work with a broker instead of going direct?

No Cost to You: We are compensated by the vendors, so our consulting services are free to your business.
Better Pricing: By comparing rates across carriers, we can often negotiate better pricing and terms than you'd get signing up on your own.
Long-Term Partnership: Sales reps change jobs; we stay with you for the life of your business.
